Responsibilitles / Qualifications: Provides leadership, direction and oversight over the development, implementation and effective functioning of the Mercy Compliance Program throughout the assigned geographic region of Mercy's Ministry. This position may also have Mercy-wide responsibility for one or more service lines as determined by the Deputy Chief Compliance Officer and/or the Chief Compliance Officer.  Facilitates policies and processes to support adherence to the Mercy Code of Conduct and Compliance Program Plan by Mercy co-workers and physicians serving in all assigned hospitals, clinics, Mercy-wide service lines, and post acute facility locations. The Director reports directly to Mercy's Deputy Chief Compliance Officer, or where applicable, Executive Director-Compliance and performs duties in a manner consistent with Mercy's mission and values. Qualifications: Because you're committed to excellence, you understand the importance of being properly prepared for your role at Mercy. That's why you'll bring to your role the right set of qualifications: Education: Bachelor's Degree Experience: Minimum of three years experience in health care regulatory compliance required. Certifications: Must be Certified in Healthcare Compliance (Health Care Compliance Association) or become certified within 24 months of hire. Preferred Education: Master's degree and/or J.D. preferred Preferred Experience: Previous healthcare compliance program experience. Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
