Job Summary Consensus Technology Group (CTG) is seeking a Data Center Site Lead to oversee all critical infrastructure and equipment at our operation based in Missouri, just outside of Festus.
Reporting directly to the Head of Operations, we are looking for a driven candidate who is ready to take full ownership of the operation.
The Data Center Site Lead will flourish in a fast-paced setting and have a demonstrated track record of implementing thorough processes and procedures while building great teams from the bottom up.
He or she must be incredibly detail-oriented, resourceful, and a self-starter.
Complex systems management will be a breeze because of their solution-focused and pragmatic attitude, and inspiring high-performing, productive teams will come naturally to them.
Responsibilities Lead and oversee a team of data center technicians, onsite security, and external contractors that will operate on site.
Manage and maintain computer workstations, peripheral devices, mainframe networks, local area networks (LANs), and wide area networks (WANs).
Maintain accurate site documentation such as maintenance records, power consumption, temperature trends Ability to cover 24 x 7 support escalations / DC incidents management and service calls for timely recovery Work with all stakeholders in the site to ensure that performance is meeting expected standards at every level Operate master consoles to monitor the performance of computer systems and networks and to co-ordinate access and use of computer networks Requirements 3
Years managing and leading technical workers 3
Years hands on experience with servers and computer systems Familiarity with working in and managing those who work in a loud and high temperature fluctuating site Moderate construction or fabrication experience to manage onsite alterations or improvements Experience working with managing priorities and multiple tasks Experience working with ASIC machines and troubleshooting common failure points Experience with construction management and leading projects Experience with networking and network infrastructure Able to lift 50lbs or more Comfortable working on step ladders, bent over, or on feet for long periods of time Job Type:
