Join us and discover why Modern Healthcare Magazine named us in its Top 100 Places to Work.Overview:Maintains professional accountability and technical support for provision of patient care for the endoscopy patients experience.As directed, may be preparing the endoscopy field, obtain needed equipment uphold patient safety standards andassistthe physician and registered nurse.Performs a variety of direct and indirect patient care duties and may assist with special procedures as noted on the career ladder program.These duties may range from limited to overly complex. All duties are performed in a manner consistent with our mission, values, and Mercy Service Standards.
Qualifications:Minimum Qualifications (Level IV): 1
years of Experience/Complex and Routine Hospital LocationsConsistently supports a 24-hour opportunity location.Education: High-School Diploma or GED are required. You may be asked to provide proof of education.Certifications: American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) required.
Experience: Optional Surgical or Endoscopy tech education and/or experience.Other: Must understand English both written and spoken, must be able to perform job-related functions safely and successfully, with or without reasonable accommodation required by federal, state, or local law.The Endoscopy Technologist IV is able to successfully and independently participate in all levels of complex cases, preform high level disinfection duties and supports a 24-hour location. This coworker is able to proficiently participate in cases when there are reduced resources available to assist and have a thorough understanding of all the Endoscopy technology. Highest Performer Endoscopy Technologist. Subject matter expert. Acts as primary preceptor for other Endo Techs. May have leadership and supply responsibilities.Completes all competencies in previous levels in addition to Endoscopy Tech Advanced Technology Competency.We Offer Great

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
